At 351 FITNESS our intention is to create a community that inspires you to become the healthiest and strongest version of yourself all the while providing you support you need to create sustainable habits and acquire new skills along your Fitness journey

Movement

Movement is life. Movement is how we interact with the world. And for many of us, movement (through training, exercise and exploring) is a main source of our freedom and joy. Unfortunately, modern society has limited our ability to move regularly. Through movement, we can express ourselves mentally, physically, and creatively. From movement we interact with everything within our environment, thus I strive to increase the quality of interactions by making you skilled and proficient at movement. Learning to move better to prevent injury and achieve more. The way you breathe, move, exercise, and hold postures have a significant effect on muscle, joint, and tendon health – and your overall well-being. I employ a principles-based approach, centered around control of fundamental movement patterns. This is applied precisely to the individual’s needs with an emphasis on understanding and awareness. I teach the dos and don’ts you need to know to take care of your body.

Strength

Through improving the quality of movement, efficient and effective strength training, and optimizing your nutrition. Truly lays the ultimate foundation and is the key to unlocking your fitness goals and the mother of living a life on your own terms. Your one-to-one training sessions or online coaching training sessions with Josh are focused on making you the strongest version of yourself in the most efficient and effective way possible. If you want to improve your stamina, lift heavier or sculpt your physique and see a real difference, Josh will use a principled-based to training for strength to your health and fitness goals. Strength is not just for elite athletes to perform the best at the highest level at any level. Strength is for the mothers and fathers who need to be strong for their daily routine; it’s for office workers, leaders and entrepreneurs riddled with back, shoulder and knee pain; it’s for the elderly, who want social independence not walking aids and carers; it’s for rehabbing previous or existing injuries and it’s for the confidence created when you possess a body and move better, feels strong and eats well.

Nutrition

The principled-based approach is specifically designed to educate you on how to eat your goals based on your activity levels, body type, lifestyle, and many other factors that often hold people back. I will emphasize the importance of a nutrient-dense diet, sleep, proper digestion and a happy gut, blood sugar balance, hormone and menstrual health, and balancing stress. Sustainable principled-based nutrition coaching has the strongest effect on transforming your body, having an individualized approach helps you to close the gap between you and your goals. Principled-based coaching is using non-restrictive macro-based, focusing on fat loss or lean muscle gain either through calorie surplus or deficit. Based on your lifestyle you’ll be provided customized goals on how much protein, carb, and fat to eat each day. By keeping tabs on food quality, hunger, digestion, bathroom stuff, energy levels, menstrual health, hormone health, sleep, and stress to make sure your body functioning to its full capacity. Furthermore hydration suggestions, supplement suggestions, and suggestions on how to time your food (in relation to workouts) to ensure you feel great before, during, and after your training session.
